Wings Clipped

Unfortunately as this man is a pilot we are unable to show you his face on the internet, however congratulations to Mr. MAVERICK22 who tied the knot on Friday. His wings will be clipped for the next week or two as he sets off by boat to the land of dreams and sheep.

Best of luck Mav.

Yes, Congrats to the Lucky Couple.....

Now, is the BEAUTIFUL P-40 'blacked out' as well, or is that its normal garb?

Cheers

I don't understand why the young man is looking at that woman when there's a beautiful aeroplane behind to stare at. What's wrong with him?

I had thought that but was too polite to post it

He'll get over it sooner or later!

It's the Judy Pay Kittyhawk at her new hangar at Tyabb. A VERY nice set-up indeed. You could eat off the floor in there.

QUOTE:nomorecatering "Anyone else have an aviationed themed wedding?"
I proposed to my wife flying circles over Sydney Harbour in a little twin. It seemed romantic at the time, but I must admit that years on it seems slightly tacky to me (proposing while flying, not the marriage - the marriage is still great).

An ATCer was the first to congratulate us. I had a delay note on the plan which siad something like five minutes delay for marriage proposal. I'd finished orbits and was about to leave on decent via the heads when he asked "[aircraft callsign] We were just wondering if you had any luck?" To which I responded in the affirmative, before ATC came back with "Well congratulations to the pair of you."

We didn't but they are popular in the UK. Duxford is a popular venue with a Concorde and the TSR-2 for the backdrop.
