UFO over Geelong tonight!

UFO over Geelong tonight!
At 2145 local time (4/7/2010) I was leaving work (Geelong Hospital). I spotted a strange item moving in the sky to the south. I drove toward it and it had a red/blue appearance.
I drove until I was directly below it in South Geelong. It was fast moving and appeared to be looping and circling around the South Geelong/Belmont area.
I got out of the car for a closer view. It was completely silent. Looking quite high around say 4000'. It appeared to have a square section wing lit fully in red/blue light. And the mid point of the wing in direction of travel were cobalt blue lights front and rear. No traditional AC lighting configuration, no strobes.
I watched it for about 10 minutes then the lights on it suddenly went off. About 5 seconds later they came back on. They were going on and off for periods of 5-10 seconds as the craft continued to circle the area. Then they went off and it was no longer visible.
Very strange.

In BREAKING news:
Police un-cover a massive marijuana crop in southern Lara, a small town to the North East of Geelong. Speaking with Constable Ben Dover, apparently the crop was of a high hallucinogenic value and residents are warned not to consume this product as it can cause all sorts of hallucinations and crazy thoughts.

Most people have a Mob Ph with camera. Nobody else saw this??
10 mins is a long to time to observe such an odd object surely there was someone else in the area to watch? That time frame is long enough to call someone (assuming you had a Ph) to verify the object especially seeing as it was at about 4000 ft The whole of Geelong could see it at that Alt.
You say you where leaving work from the Geelong Hospital, sure you 'work' there?
Sorry hard not to have a laugh here. Am sure that other life forms do exist out there,we do in our solar system so why not others but we must have proof:-)

I guess there are those that have seen... and then there are the others.
I would have thought many pilots would have seen strange lights or movement in the sky...... we are supposed to be looking out after-all.
I have seen something unusual, and strangely enough the young lady I was with at the time saw exactly the same. Nelson airport, again many years ago.
Next we will be hearing that many here were too young to know about the Kaikoura sightings , - admittedly not yesterday.
Somethings have been around in aviation a little longer than last week.
I am not saying I, or anyone, has ideas or answers..... just I believe the sightings will continue. Maybe, just maybe, someone else down that way did actually see something similar.
Many believe we will meet an alien before Jesus makes his return...
I think some are convinced it will be the the same day.

There are a few aircraft around set up for survellance, state and federal police. I wouldn't have thought they would have any lights on at all doing survelance work? Or looping for that matter but I spose tight turns could appear that way?
