ATPL Books.

Anyone used these Rob Avery Books recently care to comment on their effectiveness in passing the ATPL Systems exam? Significantly cheaper than alternatives. Wondering if these three books is good enough or if you need to get some other info to cover all bases...

Any help?

Rob Avery's stuff is great but you can't go past the AFT material. Even the wording is the same as the exam so you don't spend time trying to decipher CASA"s version of the English language.

Might be more expensive but the exam's at $150 a go (well they were when I did them) you don't have to fail too many before it all adds up to the same.

Just my 2 cents worth

I just sat this subject and had previously bought the Rob Avery books. They were ok but long and no revision exams at the end of each topic. Especially book 3 just goes on & on & on. I had been given a copy of the AFT notes. Concise and revision exams at the end plus a host of really good prac exams.
I would go the AFT notes, like I said i did it about 3 weeks ago. Handing over.

I know the feeling well.
I think if you already have the Rob Avery stuff they are good for exactly as you say later reference. Especially come airline interview time
Do you know anyone who already has the AFT notes?? See if you cant borrow some I know that is going against the moral way but might be helpful.
