ME-CIR requirement
Hi guys,
I have a question about the aeronautical experience required for the issue of a ME-CIR. At the moment I hold a NVFR rating restricted to single engine aircraft.
The CAO 40.2.1. 8.3 (e) says that:
except fot those persons whose licence is restricted to day only operations, 10 hours night flight of which not less than 5 hours shall be as pilot in command on the category of aircraft for which the rating is sought.
Does it mean that in order to get the ME-CIR, it is actually required that these 5 hours PIC must be conducted in the same twin-engine for which the rating will be issued???
or eventually it might be possible to do these 5 hours PIC in the single engine in order to satisfy the ME-CIR requirement?
Cheers

"pilot in command on the category of aircraft for which the rating is sought."
Unless you have night hours in a helicopter, gyro, balloon, airship; you're fine.
