NZ Part 135 ICUS Question

Hi guys

Just a quick question for those in the know. Reading the rules for Part 135 in NZ, I see that 40 hours command training is required before one can fly as PIC.

Now my question is; if someone who has got the 40 hours ICUS time and an OCA with an operator applies and gets a job with another Part 135 operator, will they have to redo the 40 hours with the new company?

My understanding of the rule is that a person does not have to do 40 hours again to gain an OCA, but rather 10 hours to be 'checked to line' for a new operator.

Any answers and clarifications would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Regards

A confused ZKSUJ

Yes you are correct, 10 hours on ATOs and an OCA with the new company

Pt135.505 sets out the requirements
