New Sky & Space Act Legislation

This just in: After the fail of the foreshore & seabed act Maori Party co-leader Tariana Turia and her mokopuna has just released plans for a new sky & space act. Mrs Turia believes as the sky played a significant part of ancestor history, and should be returned to 'their' people under the treaty. Other sources claimed that a Maori tax would be implemented on major airway routes sending airfares up by as much as 20%. Leader of the National party John Key has yet to comment on the new proposed act.

Based on fact? Wasn't there a serious attempt at similar with an indigenous group a few years ago?

Waaay back now, at a WA RAPAC it was announced that the CUNDERDIN Shire Council were raising invoices for acft using the CUN Navaids for training - they didn't actually have to land at CUN to receive the bill.....

I don't know IF anybody actually paid the invoice.....I don't think I would have....
