Flight Around Australia

From There and Back

A fundraising flight for the RFDS, featuring the lead-up to the flight and construction of the aircraft.

"2010 will mark 100 years since the first powered aircraft took flight in Australia. To commemorate this historic achievement and draw attention to our modern Australian aviation industry, Owen Zupp will be undertaking a flight around Australia. In the process he will also be raising funds for a great Australian charity, the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Daily updates will be accessible via multi media, and film footage will form the core of a post flight DVD production. You will even be able to track the progress of Owen's flights on line in real time with the aid of his Spidertracks aircraft tracking system."
