They have an Ad in today's Australian paper. The website seems impressive, with Eurocopter & military aircraft they service. I have never heard of them though.

I think they provide contractors to operations.

Most of the helicopter pictures on their website are from the base I was flying at about 2 years ago. I seem to recall those fellas around the hangar when the engineering side of things were snowed under with heaviesv or specialist repairs (eg composite structures).

Hope this helps?

Shane will be one of those 'one man bands' that you seem to worry about Jethro. I have not worked for him but I am sure many have.

I can't really comment but these guys seem to score many contracts so there is certainly still work out there.

I think it was Wobbles that ran a similar thread... Perhaps he has just discovered that there are numerous avionics positions about. Those guys have been able to write their own 'ticket to ride' for many years now.

Some of these maintenance organisations really do struggle to get good men through the door. Some locations may not be so desirable so those Companies perhaps rely on contract labour. As we have seen on other threads, the remuneration can be lucrative also..

In for a penny...........
