FAA-CASA

Can anybody provide some information on conversions from FAA to CASA. By the way I've been to CASA website already. Any other website where I can find more info about where I can study from. Also what kind of questions are in the written test and what do you do in the flight portion. Thank you in Advance.

What CASA require you to do in order to convert your FAA Cert, will depend on what FAA cert you already have.

If you have an FAA ATP, you'll need to do the CPL Air Law exam, ATPL Air Law exam and the IREX. Once they're done you need to take the Command Multi-Engine I/R Flight test. Think along the lines of an FAA Multi-Engine I/R flight test and you won't be far off the mark.

If you have no experience of flying in Australia, don't think for a minute it'll be as easy as picking up a Gleim and simply learning the answers, especially the IREX!
