Is PPRune DG&P unfriendly?

I've been reading elsewhere (on forums and stuff) and talking to some low time posters and they indicate that PPRune is unfriendly, in particular this forum in comparison to other forums both on PPRune and elsewhere.

I was wondering if others perceive this as the case?

I suggested to this individual that PPRune is predominantly for Professional pilots (as the name suggests) and that newbie low timers asking questions such as "where should I learn to fly?" give them the irrits.

Do you feel that this is the case or is it just life and aviation is a hard place to be in?
