Once again someone had to prove that they have a better job than the rest of us. Anyone one know if Virgin Galactic are taking applications?
Great post Mick.
Great post Mick.
Fourballs, The USAF used to use Chevy Camaros as chase cars at Beale, among others. That could be a Pontiac GTO (Monaro) I'm not sure from the rear view.
I still remember flying right over Beale on my way into Sacramento and having ATC give me traffic on a U2 climbing out, sure enough I looked down at the base and could see a black X on its way up.
One of the issues of US AOPAs magazine last yr had a great article by Barry Schiff ( Barry Schiff - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) about a ride he got in one. Very descriptive from a pilots POV on performance and handling qualities.
If I can get an e copy of text Ill post it.
