How far is Temora?

Well, according to the RA-Aus Pres in his latest magazine (P3) it's just 250nm from BN, 100nm from SY, 50nm from CB, 120nm from ML and 480nm from AD.

Well, one out of five aint bad, I guess?

Reminds me of the time a mate was chatting to some guys who landed in a Jabiru:
"where ya going?"
Griffith.
"ahh, you're AT Griffith."
No, no.
"ahh, yeah, see that sign that says "Griffith Aero Club"?
Oh.

What I want to know is how some of these guys can find completely the wrong aerodrome with complete accuracy.

Agreed GG

My Calibrated Piece of String says 522nm for me +/-1nm or about 180-200minutes.

I am just as guilty at times but before publishing stuff like that it really would pay to check your units of measure.

I suspect they were meant to be approx. Minutes ETI from around SEQ to YTEM for example in your typical 100-120 knot machines.

Good Point Arnold!

would be 220-250 minutes if that was the case....... Maybe they got that one right! The rest look like minutes.

We all just wish AD was that far away!
