JAMESTOWN AIRSHOW - What did you think?

Just wondering what everyone thought about the Jamestown airshow and fly-in. Perfect weather. Pity the Hornet broke down!

It is the first time that the weather has been perfect, I have been to all the rest and not this one, so I too will be interested in how it went.

I thought it was very well done both the show and the facilities. Plenty of toilets ( women especially like that) mini buses ferrying pilots from the parking area to /from the public areas were good and plentiful and we never had to wait too long. The crowd were friendly and the whole show had a relaxed country atmosphere. I went to the first one some years ago also and considering Jamestown is only a small town of a couple of thousand people or so they are outstanding. I take my hat off to all involved and will return again in the future.
There was a good mixture of visiting aircraft that flew in for the day though down on numbers slightly on the last time I went I think but my memory may be wrong on that.
