Lightie insurance

Any owner/operator had mail lately from an 'asset' insurer? Quote is around 25% cheaper than the usual suspects (exact same coverage I am led to believe), I wonder what the catch is? Looks legit, seems to be based on the same basic underwriting as the big boys, I wonder what the deal is..

I have used that company, and despite a poor broker and dubious owners, they stumped up the readies when I needed them, and I guess that's what really matters.

Had quotes from them. Very little different to existing arrangements - competitive perhaps but not enough to justify changing. There's another mob trying for business also. They were about 40% higher. Good to see a small snif of competition in the industry. Pity they still won't let the brokers compete. Once a broker starts talking to them, they are your broker, like it or not.
