"Back Flaps"?

If this was failed elevator control, he should go and buy a lotto ticket.

And pat himself on the back for getting himself down alive.

flap failure? sounds like a very lucky guy! well, you know, if only 1 comes out, or removes itself from the airframe.. etc etc or was it elevator failure?

Either way he did a bloody good job to get it down in one piece!

Sounds like he lost the elevator and used power to control pitch.

I love the media. "35 years flying experience" Let me see...

35 x 364.25 x 24 = 305,970 hours. Wow. Do you suppose that's PIC or TT?

Sorry, but "back flaps" conjures up images of fat ladies with rolls. Anyone else getting that, or is it just me
