Blue Skygear International JACKET..

Anybody remember a place called SKYGEAR INTERNATIONAL in Sydney in the late eighties and early nineties.
I purchased a blue plastic jacket that was distributed by this mob, from the aero club at archerfied in the nineties.

The plastic jacket was commonly called a blue FLIGHT CREW GEAR jacket.
The present day jackets available at pilot supplies shops have cloth inserts and when it rains your soaked all day, where as the above jacket was great for light rain and wind. Also it was orange inside.

Anybody know where I can get one size 42 as mine has worn out.

that looks like one of those self combusting cheapy nylon jackets - wouldnt want to go near fuel with it as the static electricity will probably send you sky high.

try the drizabone website and look up the brumby jacket. showerproof, very warm, big pockets and most importantly was still Australian made last time i bought one. but then so were the blundstone boots.

Some pilots should wear these.
