How to celebrate 10 years flying?

The 10th aniversary of my first solo is coming up in a couple of months and having celebrated not much else in my time flying I want to celebrate this.

I've got a couple of ideas, but i thought i'd throw it open to the minds of Proon to see what would turn up.

Only stipulations - I want to be doing the flying and the budget is around $1000.00.

So what are you thinking? What would you do?

$1000 would give you two or three hours doing aeros (not in a jet fighter), you never know you might like it and want to continue on. Either way it will enhance your flying skills!

What did you solo in and where?? Wander back there and take your old instructor up for an hour or so in the same old bird. That should almost blow the grand with a little left for a carton. Well done, have fun for the next ten.

I must be showing my age...A celebration in my time meant shouting the bar. Funnily enough $1000 was the budget then too.

I cant see how a celebration can stipulate you doing the flying! Mans you cant have a drink, Let's see $1000 sould be able to get you 30 slabs of XXXX, so I suggest 28 slabs and a real cheap dancer ^^ , and I mean REAL cheap!

Why not jump out of a 'perfectly good aeroplane' and spend the rest on booze!
