Aircraft Detailing - Archerfield ?

Hi

Anyone know of anyone based at YBAF or in Brisbane who does aircraft detailing?

I know of and have used Ultrashine before. Just wondering if there is anyone else around?

The Guys from "Manta" do a great job, they can also bring leather and trim back to "new" as well as the paint work.

Thanks Cirrus

I couldn't get in touch with the Ultrashine crowd hence my post.

I found Manta. Turns out they are ex Ultrashine. Will stick with them.

They did a good job last time.

Cheers

Hi rioncentu, just out of interest, what's the going rate for detailing, e.g. if I couldn't be @rsed to clean the insides of my four seater myself?

It's more the paint I am worried about. Not the inside. I can clean that. it's the damn outside that takes so much time and effort.

And I dont have a hangar which makes it harder and needs doing more often.

It's around $1400 for the full monty with buff and polish and paint sealant and all the gear for a large single.

For around half that they can do a polish and stuff.

OK it sounds dear (and it is). but if you spend about 5% of the cost of a new paint job every couple of years, the life of the paint is extended greatly.

Or put it into your own hourly rate and how long it would take to do it yourself....... That's the bit that wins me over !
