2 x R22 Mid Air - Near Halls Ck

This afternoon's News Bulletin from 6PR Perth, reports sadly, that 2 x R22s have collided apparently, on Springvale Stn near Halls Ck WA, and that fatalities have occurred, approx 16kms from the HS.

WA Police attending, pilots' ages stated as 37 and 39. Choppers did not return to base camp for refuelling, and were located by another helo. on being overdue.

Terribly sad event.

Does anyone know what company they were from?

A very sad day for the Kimberley flying folk.

How can you suggest that? Do you have some inside information or are you just showing your ignorance?

It is not uncommon for two or more mustering choppers to be working together.
