Foolish flying

Whoever this fool is who put this pathetic 2 bit display of airmanship on you tube you should be ashamed of yourself as other guys or girls have to fly this same aircraft and also where is the regard for your passengers not only on this flight but for all the flights to follow. You should be in a circus instead of an aircraft.

Crap

TKFS, it blows me away that you can take a bit of video that looks like a bit of private flight crap off "You Tube", filmed off Agnes Waters in Queensland and put it up as being the action of a Commercial Operator, or one of their pilots, in the North West.

Sadly it is posts like yours that continue to degrade the value of this forum when it should be, and could be a very informative platform. Unfortunately the uninitiated or new chums read crap like this and take it as fact, because we are supposedly on a Professional Pilots network. The potential for litigation through this sort of action I would think would run very high.

The one thing that I would be sure of, is that TKFS does not stand for The Knowledge Fountain Service because you have it so wrong.

They're not negative G - they are low to zero G - well within the certification limits of the airframe, and perfectly safe to fly. The title wasn't placed by the pilot, but by the passenger - who obviously enjoyed the flight, and probably enjoyed posting it on u-tube.

Onya maaaate. Nah wasn't me. that was far to civilized for my flying.
Besides, I couldn't have gotten all those hotties in the aircraft without being charged with some form of indecent act. to long in the bush I guess.
Now if it was a float plane..

G Meters

Looking at this vid a G meter seems perhaps warranted, however due to the state of the industry many of these smaller aircraft are not fitted with all the instruments that would make life easier for the crew, so here is a little rule of thumb;
  1. 1g to 0.5 g Passengers who fly frequently are undisturbed by the sensation however first timers may feel a little apprehensive.
  2. 0.5 to 0 g, Strange sounds begin to come from passengers, sometimes a little emotional, however still no danger.
  3. 0g to -1g The pilot may experience a euphoric sensation, brought on by the sighting of a viewfinder full of AIRBORNE CLAM proceeding toward him from the rear seats. Although there are no recorded deaths from the dreaded clam, extreme caution is advised.
When flying around the Kimberly, beware the airborne clam

If you can,t get a job in Scuninurra, Can,t keep up with the indoor cricket set.??
Specialise.
Every man and his Datson 180 has a commercial and multi engined IFR.
So what.
Your going to be flying VFR aircraft scenics.!!!!
Nothing challenging.
What makes you different.? Nothing.
Can you legally fly below 500 agl.?
If you want a job think outside reality.
Just a thought to get you going.
