Basically you have Pearson's, InterAir, National Aerospace Training and Essendon flying school. Pearson's probably the pick of the bunch I reckon, but up to you. Landing fees hurt these days, upwards of $40 for a 172.

Does Laurie still have the old 'Apache' at EFS? have quite a few hours in that, was wondering what it costs to hire these days...

I would recommend Pearsons based on feedback. Fees, well quite unreasonable. Perhaps look into driving to Moorabbin or Bendigo (both have very professional flight schools) and you will still save money.

Thumbs down YMEN Schools

Give Pearson's a miss, things have gone down hill there recently. They have good aircraft, but poor management, instructors fighting. I'm currently learning there but i'm in the process of changing schools. I'll probably go to Interair, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Good Luck with your training.
