They will give you the same level of noise reduction as the Mach1 with custom moulds. They use the same principle-custom moulded earplugs with a built in earphone and in this case a mic as well.

It's the mic that is interesting-uses bone conduction principle, I have wondered how long it would take before someone put it in a aviation headset.

One thing to bear in mind with these-they are for speech only. Which is a good thing for pilots, IMO- very good intelligibility specs. Don't expect to be able to listen to music or anything else-it'll sound worse than AM radio.

What gets me is the USD995 price tag, plus the AUD150 or so for the custom mould imprint. I am amazed how every headset maker gets to charge such exorbitant prices. For that money I would be expecting an amazing bit of kit. I haven't seen one headset yet worth more than $500-600.

Nice answer mate.

I was looking for in ear with the ability to play music well.
I was looking into the tbone so the answer helped.

Do you have any recommendations?
Playing music is vital for me.
Also, does the headsets (havn't started training yet so i haven't bought a headset yet) have a "ducking" feature.
Ducking means it will lower the volume of the music when it receives signals from the other channel (ATC or Co-pilot).
