So Long...AvCentre?

I do not know if it is true but i heard over the weekend that Brian shut shop. Does anyone have any info on this?
I hate to see another long time operator biting the dust due to economic pressure.

he only sold the business not shut shop. The new owners have changed the name also. The aircraft were sold to the new business owners but they sold then back to him because they were not really the best quality of aircraft. 340 needs sids and complete new interior, 414 is no longer pressurized and again ugly interior and the metro 2 only has dash 3s in it with 14 seats. I spoke to the owner about them just the other day and id sell them back too. They have some good plans i hope they work out for them all. Good luck to brian in the future also.

Hmm ... Dunno about VH-DRQ, but it's stable mate C414A VH-DRN was in my neck of the woods some months ago. At the time I would not have allowed my family to ride in it - I hope it has had a little TLC since then because C414A's are a nice twin. C340s don't make any sense to me, exactly the same engine as a C414A (TSIO-520-NB), but the 414 performs better, carries more, climbs better ...

Danger DRN

DRN was in for SIDS last yr (12 months!) and I think perhaps they may have found AIDS.
