A330 to A380

Just wondering if it's a differences course or a full endorsement? Can you still fly the A330 or do you stay solely on the A380?

i'd think it would be the same as current procs. that is say your currently rated on the A330, you go through the training for the A380, then say 1 year later you move back to the A330, yes you have flown them before and have many hours on it, but you still need to train on it again.

So to answer you question, you stay soley on the A380 until you get retained onto the A330 etc at a later date

Angel A380

As a current Airbus A330/A340 driver, I was lucky enough to get up the not so pointy end of the A380 a few months ago....and I can say that it will be at the very least a differences course, if not a full type rating. There are enough big differences in the avionics, presentation of information, switch location, or re-location, not to mention the fact that the MTOW is about 200T more than a A340 to make the type significantly different.
