C-17 Globemaster at Williamtown?
Want to get this confirmed, walked outside to this loud roar looked out and it was what I believed a C17 Globemaster or an Antonov departing Williamtown today around 4.30ish. Very unusual I havn't seen/heard of anything that large at Willy before!

ules!!!
I am concerned that you are unable to discern any points of difference between a C-170 and any of Mr Antonov's products.
Whilst the former is vintage aircraft, most of the later are, shall we say, a more agricultural variety.
Some would even say the C-170 was only decent aircraft Mr Cessna ever built.
I doubt that a C-170 would make the noise you describe, probabbly because they do not have propper(sheesh) jet engines
tipsy

C-17s and An-124s have been regular visitors to Willytown for the past 6 weeks. Also had a C-5 , KC-10s and KC-135s supporting 2 rotations of US F-15s.
