I never got the impression that he was naughty about that sort of thing, just a real charmer

And yes, that twinkle in the eye is definitely still there, next time I see him I'll tell him you said hello.

That article is the one I'm talking about. If I led a life half as interesting as his I'd count myself lucky.

I credit the bloke with saving my aviation 'career.' At the time I was doing my theory using the Cessna Pilot Training guide, a greater load of garbage I'd never come across. I didn't know any better and was about to throw the towel in when an old bloke put me onto Trevor's books. It all made sense after then!
