Word is, that Piper recently cancelled orders for some Warrior III's that were already placed, and deposits paid for, one customer had only in the last few days taken delivery of a Brand new Seminole. Apparently they said they arent building Warriors because its more profitable to work on the Piper Jet.
Nice one Piper execs. Alienate your customer base. The Bloke learning in a Warrior today, is the guy who will be buying a Piperjet tomorrow. Cessna worked that one out decades ago.

I have a vague recollection of reading somewhere a short time ago that they will only build Warriors in batches now. I think 4 was the minimum required number.

Cessna have built the C162 Sky catcher LSA for PRECISELY this reason- they don't care if they never make a zack out of it, but they know the next generation of Citation owner-pilots has to come from somewhere.
Compare the success of the two companies (who were once close rivals!) and you'll see which has better management!
