Anyone got any comments, good, bad or otherwise about ChartAir?
What's progression to twins like? How many flying hours can you expect to do in a year?

I haven't worked for them for a number of years now (almost three) but expect an honest days work for an honest days wage (award) and lots of hours for that logbook. It was normal ops for the TNT aircrew in DN to be on max (365 day) hours and most of the other bases weren't far behind either.
Speaking with a couple of recent employees of theirs the progression onto twins is quicker now than it used to be which can be nothing but good - but do not just expect it to come to you (keep your nose/aircraft clean etc).
Each of the bases locations (Alice, Tennant Crk, Katherine, Borroloola and Darwin) have their own set of social circumstances but you will meet and work with some of the best people in and around GA. You'll also get the opportunity to fly into some of the most remote/harsh/beautiful parts of this country and to live in and experience what the NT is all about.
Why don't you call them and ask? 08 8952 6666.

Chartair have a C402 based in Tennant Creek doing Aeromed work, sorta fills the gap between NTAMS and RFDS.
