No, I have it from a good source, that my mates fathers girlfriends brother was accually there the day after it happened, and the kite could still be seen from the aircrafts wheels

I'm agreeing with Monopole,
I was the kitey who got snatched by that aircraft.
That introduced my love for flying, apart from the grazes from the runway!

It took the ground crew ages to get all the bits of your kite out of the leading edge devices...
