G'day mates..
Well, I hate to deliver bad news... but I cx my NZ ATPL exams (was supossed to write them at the NZ Embassy in Germany) because of the hassle involved... my wife and I are still very interested in moving our life together down to NZ... she is still being hounded to show up down there and start working... we most likely will head down for a few weeks and scope it all out later this year... I am just terrified of finding myself unemployed as a 10000 hr Captain and no ship to fly.... and worse than that... living off "me Sheil'as" income!!

Anyone on the inside know when Air Nelson will be hiring again?
6mths? 12mths? Next week? I've got a friend with lots of turbo-prop time and she is thinking about going to Eagle.....I told her Nelson is better if she can get it and that if she does go to Eagle it would be hard to swap across. Sound about right?

Hard to tell mate - We've got a bunch of guys/girls on 'yes' letters right now. . . So obviously they'll get first dibs.
WHEN Air NZ starts taking on the multitudes of people it has on 'yes' letters then we'll see some serious movement throughout the Link carriers, but right now it is anyone's guess!
I got into Air NSN at the end of the last cycle about 18months ago. Let's hope the next one is just around the corner - for everyone's benefit!
