QF Application / Stage 2

Hi guys,

just wondering what the process is after youve sent your initial application. Do QF send you a letter of acknowledgement? - if so, how long does this usually take - its been a while now....

Also how long after initial application these days are guys getting a call to attend stage 2?

Thanks in advance

I registered intrest about 2 weeks ago. Qantas don't give out any information or help so you just need to sit back and wait. I could be 2 days or 2 months until the next stage.

Thumbs up

I express-posted my application on a Friday afternoon and had received an Email invite to Stage 2 by Monday evening.

Stupid thing is that I had been sitting on the application for over 2 years before I sent it

To answer the next question, I did the testing on a Thursday and again I had an invite back for Sim, interview, medical the next Monday. The Sim etc was scheduled about 6-7 weeks after the Psychometric testing to allow time for all the security checks etc I imagine.

How long till the next bit? I'll let you know

For the record - I had about 4000TT, 1500 instructing and 1100 multi CHTR.

'ellie' good luck, you may very well be one of the last who gained experience the proper way.

Capt wally, I wouldn't be so sure about that.. When I was finishing off my MECIR the other week at Johnstone's I met plenty of guys that will be applying with a thick coating of red dust on their boots.
