NAV BAGS/ Briefcases

howdy everyone. Anyone know the best place in melbourne to get nav bags from. Not really after the square traditional type, so somewhere with large selections or variety would be great. Any help appreciated
cheers

Was going to say Skylines at ymmb, however possibly on the expensive side, and also if you don' t want the 'traditional' style then they're probably not the best.

DFO at Spencer Street station has a few stores with 'Pilot cases' and all sorts of other bags... hope that helps?

NB: also if you want sunnies, I got a pair of Serengeti's from the Bolle store there, 75% off!!!

Sweeneys in North Melbourne have lotsa stuff. They do the replacements for several of the airlines, depending on who you work for you can get a discount. Lots of variety. I got my new one there. Lovely bag, victorinox. Very suited to the task. But F@ck me, expensive..........even after the discount. But once I'd looked at it and appreciated what it was I ponied up the cash. Lifetime investment. Might be for sale if I blow this sim.......

RS, (!) The Victorinox Trevi leather was the one I bought. It is a business type bag, not a roller. But I do believe they make one as a roller. Beautiful leather and workmanship. I have since seen them as low as $279 usd on the net. If you go to Sweeneys or try to buy it in oz, don't have a heart attack when they tell you the price here tho. It isn't cheap. Lifetime guarantee and all that. I found it was just a perfect size for my current job, and it will also carry my laptop if required. Just a little smaller than the larger samsonite and similar pilot's type bags. Go to www.swissarmy.com/travelgear I didn't get it there, but you can look at the stuff they make.

cheers.

You'd think I was a bloody rep for Jeppesen the amount of stuff I have bought, and personally own the Jepp 'Navigator' bag, but their student bag is seriously good value - $50 and you can fit all your stuff (ie. DAP's, ERSA, Camera and iPOD) in it AND it fits between the seats of usual suspects ie, C182/C402/C208/AC50/Baron etc... wish I'd bought one from the start.
