Just tell them at the interview that you would like to stay for more than six months and do you get long service leave after ten years?

Pretty easy interview, They will ask a few questions like......a dark night in woop woop, how would you plan your departure etc. or given certain weather what endurance would you need, general IFR stuff. If you get the nod they will want you for two years or you pay for the endorsement.

Hey "HH" help me out here mate! Have been inundated with requests for help with their up & coming interview. You ought to know better than me as you hide up there in Syd where as I hide down here in 'Mexico'
'essbee' good advice there with the 'woop woop' scenario.
Know the history of the RFDS a little guys & it's the 80th anniversary this year also.
