Be careful with PDAs however. The Tax Office will not accept them as being automatically FBT-exempt if they are a "converged device" (eg, PDA combined with phone, MP3 player, GPS, etc).

Good point, TEAL. However, I'm on my second PDA/phone via Sal Sac.
Just ask the rep at HN before you buy. They know which devices are permitted by the ATO under the programme.
While an Ipod wouldn't be allowable, a PDA Phone such as a Palm Treo or HTC TyTyn is.
