Was at YBAF last week.
Hempels is open for business.
They did have AOC probs. last year due to Chief Pilot issues etc.
A check of the CASA database shows a fresh AOC issue this year (but for VFR only).
Hempels must be offering MECIR in co-operation with another organisation.

Barry Hempel has always been an excellent pilot and instructor when I have flown with him. I doubt that it was just my presence.
Heard the Sunlands cooperative was apparently pulled by CASA after a 172 went in past Dalby doing an EFATO. (No one seriously hurt.)
