We down this way have known this for quite a long time, just a few lawless types that have been a concern.

Is Pprune biased

Noticed on the couple of posts the ads for tandem jumps have been put into the stories? hhmm anyhow do not mind jumping from a/c as long as it is done right.

Also noticed the Barwon Heads Sold story is CLOSED. Over 9000 hits and it gets closed oh well you can bet it will not go away because of that.

Not biased, but applying the same rules to everyone.

If you want to advertise, you buy advertising space.

But don't you know who I am? I'm Luke McWilliam!

Just remember who we are dealing with here. This fool will never see reason. He is above the law and will defy anyone.

Hey Pall

Forget the hill billy down that way, we need to follow the Yak's report and be kind and thoughtful.

Everyone gets caught up in the negative aspect that the hill billy has caused for too long and it will make all end up in the same boat (plane?) the negative approach feeds his ego I am sure so lets all try to be kind. (F***K him though)

You’ve got it right, flying is on the increase and so is the membership at the Aero Club.

The committee must be delighted with the roll up at the Club Friday Evening (Drinks), Saturday Night (Drinks and Dinner) Sunday Evening (Drinks).

Then there is the well patronised B B Q at the ultra light Hangar Sunday lunchtime with people flying in to participate.

It’s all good and to top it off the Geelong City Council has approved a planning application by the Club to construct another five hangars to house an additional 70 aircraft.

gee is the rwy as rough as the hatred down that way?
used to be a lovely drop in place many years ago but after reading all the petty childish goings on down there I guess it's changed, how sad to think that aviation instills such hatred, am not proud at times of the industry we work in

WOW
I am speechless, do not have an answer for that one, sure looks like he is worried or short of a dollar (Dr.?) with the scare reputation from your Sky Dive Operator. Must say saw a song video clip on Tele showing a couple of sky diving people imitating a band in free fall playing instruments it was very skilful in it's presentation.

Anyhow plane to get set up for a bit of a charter so must close this and do flight plan, cheers to all and sure hope it starts to go well again for you guy's.

That explains why approval has just been given for more hangars then eh?

If, and I say IF you are correct, and the field has been sold to a developer, that means it's safe for at least another 2 years then eh! How long ago was Geelong sold to developers?

How many country clubs have well patronised?

Friday Evening (Drinks), Saturday Night (Drinks and Dinner) Sunday Evening (Drinks).

and

A Sunday lunchtime B B Q

Not many I bet.

Contrary to what some on this thread would have people believe, BRS is a great place with friendly people and an excellent club.

The addition of the new hangars (which will house 70 aircraft) will increase the membership and the additional revenue will enable the club to upgrade all the Airport facilities.

Aviation instills hatred!!!!

WOW you must have had a nasty experience to come to that conclusion?
