Establish start up turnaorund company
Hi all
As a "mature age" engineer (who needs to work a few more years unfortunately) I am looking at a retirement number with relatively low establishment costs.
Given that FBO type operations are prevalent in many other countries outside Australia, I was wondering if this type of service (marshalling, chocks, toilet service etc), is available in Australia both in corporate and airline world?
if so, are there sufficient suppliers of this type of service to satisfy the local demand of aircraft turnaround?
Any thoughts and advice will be appreciated.

Low establishment costs don't normally match up with major airports where your target market is.
Plenty of FBO's about for the very limited traffic available.
Aus numbers won't support US style FBO's who are also able to sell gas.
Could be very slim pickings for retirement.
