commercial Theory

Can anyone answer this one.

I sat (and passed) my CPL theory back in 1999/2000. Didnt get my flying time / training finished and family / life got in the way and didnt get back to it.

I am now planning on getting the damned license finished and moving forward with my plans as finances now good and employment market looks interesting.

Does anyone now if CASA willl still recognise my theory pass or will I have to go back to school and redo my theory. I hope I dont have to go back to school!!!

thanks

Yep. Its still valid.

You'll need to provide proof of passing, though.

Your CPL exam theory results should be in the CASA database so you shouldn't have to resit them. I know a guy who sat for his IREX exam in 1992 and got his MECIR in 2007 (like you, he's been out of the system for some time).

Unlike ATPL exams, I don't believe there's an expiry date for when all CPL exams have to be completed so you should be right.
