Umm....thats a bit of a general question....but in general its a great company to do your Instrument rating with. The best value for money in Australia, two great testing officers on site and most of the guys there are really professional.

All is cool , heard a rumor that during their AUDIT CASA grounded the fleet, but it turns out that they did it themselves to sort out some maintenace issues, looks like i will keep my booking for March !

Jamie and Kevin still teaching and testing ME CIR.
Jamie & Anne sold the engineering to CoastJet late last year,at that time Christian went out on his own to persue other interests however will contract back when he has spare time if needed.
New Chief Engineer employed by new owner and one month down the track CoastJet had a CASA audit, some small concerns with maintenance and really more about the new Chief finding his feet with the position.
To set the record straight the aircraft were voluntarily grounded by CoastJet/Johnston Aviation and checked back to line one at a time after each aircraft were checked by maintenance again.
I think that shows how responsible they are as an operator.
The Flying operations got the big thumbs up from CASA,no concerns.
Goodluck with your courses!
