Thanks PPrune & the Moderators
As the end of the year approaches, I'd like to mention my appreciation of the fantastic aviation information site that is PPrune.
Through PPrune your generally get a prompt answer (and varying advice)to any query and kept abreast of most of whats happening in aviation worldwide, and in Australia. I have met some tremendous people through PPrune and have enjoyed the humorous satire that abounds in the posts.
So to Danny and the Moderators (especially Tailwheel), well done guys, look foward to more in 2008

As these are anonymous forums the origins of the contributions may be opposite to what may be apparent. In fact the press may use it, or the unscrupulous, to elicit certain reactions
And don't forget to thank the Americans as well.

Thanks Beach King.
Nice to know Mods are appreciated but it is not just me - it takes three Aussie Mods, Much Ado, Tidbinbilla and myself, on continuous shifts, to ride shot gun on the Dunnunda Forums.
I registered on PPRuNe within the first 100 users; 2008 is my 10th year as a registered PPRuNe user. Incase you missed the current Stats:
Threads: 249,668, Posts: 3,399,584, Members: 186,865. PPRuNe gets well over a million "hits" per day, around 140,000 from Australia!!!
All the best for 2008.

Thanks for the good wishes folks, and right back at ya 'all! I've been around here from about the same time as Tail Wheel - way back in the 90's
TQ my Avatar is of the 64m antenna found there. A fantastic place to visit if you have the slightest interest in space travel, etc.

What ABX said!
That's odd! I thought that we were supposed to blame them for everything!
And the Poms, the French etc etc.

Thanks Beechking.
Must be close to 10 years for me under various and sundry guises
Without doubt Pprune has become an enormously important resource to aviators worldwide and especially, I think, in Dununder.
I think D&G has matured in the last few years and it certainly is a better place than the 'wild west' early days which, while 'fun,'
could never last in our litigious society.
I hope everyone had a safe New Years Eve and wish everyone a prosperous 2008...and good luck...personally I think it's going to be a wild ride.

Ah, freedom of speech alive and well..........
where is pprune moderated from, China??
TID Edit:
That's where you might as well be, G.C.
Most others can follow the rules and still have a good time here without any hassles.
Having said that - Have a GREAT 08 ALL!
