VALE - Ross Devenish

There are probably many out there from the early Ansett days, Sunstate, Norfolk Airlines, Queensland Pacific Airlines, and Norfolk Jet who knew Ross.

On Boxing Day evening Rosco lost his battle with the dreaded "C". It was one battle he could not talk his way out of.

In many ways Ross played his part in the regional airline history of Queensland and beyond.

He will take his last flight on the 2nd of January.

He will be missed.

I'm saddened to hear the news.

In my experience he was a rare aviation manager that realised that he got more from his staff by giving than demanding.

I remember working with Ross in the days of "Bushies"/Air Qld in Brisbane in the early eighties. A tru gentleman who will be sadly missed.
