Jetstar Flying To Europe?

Hi guys,

I just heard a rumour that JetStar will know be flying to Rome, Athens and London for only $800 economy class ticket! anyone else hear this? just wondering if anyone knows what type of aircraft they will be using? im assuming the A330 or even the Dreamiline once it comes to service?

Hi all,
Jetstar are planning to operate 787's to European marginal ports. I doubt European capitals but more towards picking up the marginal sectors in QF's current schedule. The 787 has the range when using an Asian hub.

Dunno that it's much of a 'rumour' - here is a story from June about it and here is a story about it being delayed due to the well-publicised delays in getting the 787 into service.
