Just read on Avweb that Precision Air Motive, effectively the sole supplier of Carbs and parts for carbs for Lycommig and continental engines has stopped shipping as of Nov 1, citing insurance premiums for product liability as the cause.

It could be several months before parts are available again.

Obviously the effects of this move are going to create a lot of problems for many people, does not appear to be much of a reaction as yet. Wait till it sinks in and there will be much more reaction.
