Good luck Ules
In your neck of the woods I would also recomend Royal Newcastle Aero Club at maitland, as well as the mob at port macquarie. never hurts to shop around when looking for a flying school, as it's alot of money to spend. when you decide on a school you should "spoon feed' them your money as you go, you will be suprised how quick you can spend it on flying, also get your theory out of the way as quick as you can including the atpl subjects.

ive heard good things about port maquarie though its too far from home, cessnock is atleast 30 -40 min drive, maitland one is closer a little.. but ive already looked into it and its more expensive and get less hours for what you pay for,, although they do have a good fleet, they also have a grass runway which is a bit of a negative i think. , id prefer to study at cessnock i think, but thanks for the tips.
i will be undergoing a course that consists of these hours
22 hours dual training – Tecnam / C152
94 hours pilot in command – Tecnam / C152
25 hours dual training – C172 / PA28 / TB10
36 hours pilot in command – C172 / PA28 / TB10
