Insurance broker or direct for new charter business?

Hi all,

I'm looking at making a move into running a charter / scenic operation and one of the thousand or so questions I've got on my little list of things to find out before I make a small fortune out of a bigger one is which insurance company / broker to use.

I'll be likely starting out with one or two aircraft, a twin something along the lines of a 402 / BN2 / PA31 and probably a 206 or similar.

While I'm on the topic, does anyone know of any decent (read: profitable) charter business for sale in Oz? There's a few in avtrader but I'm sure there are others out there that are thinking about selling and haven't advertised yet.

Cheers,
flog.

They're all for sale if youv'e got the right amount of dollars!

Try Australian Commercial Credit, Stewart Smith is a real honest operator and will do you well. His speciality is Aviation

You will get him on this link [email protected]

It would be best to deal with a specialist Aviation Insurance Broker. They have aviation knowledge and can approach all the Insurers on your behalf to obtain terms. If something goes wrong the buck stops with the broker. If you deal directly with the Insurer you do not have the extra layer of protection.

Australian Commercial Credit aka Stewart Smith is a specialist broker. There are some big players out there who will not go near anyone else. Check his ad(ad's) in the aviation trader.
