Cessna to buy Columbia

Seen on Avweb that Cessna is lookign to buy the Columbia aircraft company. Good...bad??

I'd rather they put the 210 back into production.

Me too. Cessna bulldozed the tooling so it's not, unfortunately, going to happen.

If Cessna rebadge Columbia and cut US150K off the bottom line. Cirrus will have problems.......

I understand its a letter of intent to buy, pending a few things no doubt........but it looks like it culd happen.
