Jamhead,
Pilots do not let the computer (please learn how to spell this) drive them; it takes an AVIATOR to program the computer to do what the AVIATOR wants thew computer to do. Then it takes an AVIATOR to monitor what the computer is doing and ensure that it is doing what the AVIATOR programed the mother****er to do in the first place.
Quite different from driving a truck.

bonghead!!!
My point was that pilots are always going on about how skilled they are and how they remain unrewarded for what they do. Why bag out a truckdriver by saying he can be fully qualified in a week? You come across like you believe anyone who can program a COMPUTER and moniter it could fly an airliner? This makes just about as much sense.
(ps, could you reverse a 4 trailer road train? no automated tug available)!!!!
