ATPL Law publications

Hi team,

I'm coming to Australia to do ATPL's with Advanced Flight Theory, and wondering if there is a source of second hand AIP's etc required for the ATPL law paper. Is the an online auction site etc? Any suggestions would be greatly apprciated.

Regards

M

3 Holer's reference to those online documents are all very well for use at home but if you are planning on taking them into the exam room I am pretty sure ASL will knock them back. "There are some exam supervisors that follow the rules to the letter"

If you are having financial problems in purchasing the documents see if you can borrow them from a pilot at a local flying school. Failing that you are better of purchasing them if you want a good chance of passing the exam it will save you having to repeat exams.

ASL have no authority to refuse a candidate the use of documents printed from the CASA website. Indeed if they follow the rules to the letter, then I presume they will be aware of http://www.casa.gov.au/fcl/exams/cyber/material.htm

"Self printed copies of CARs, CAOs and CAAPs downloaded from the CASA website are acceptable subject to the following:
* The documents are approved for use in the particular examination, and are secured in a ring bound folder.
* The CARs, CAOs and CAAPs do not contain manuscript material, and are in separate and clearly marked folders.
* The folders do not contain other documents or notes."

However, the biggest problem is simply the size of the docs - It will take a couple of forests to provide the amount of paper needed for the Regs and Orders.

If you know when you are going to sit the exams, you can order up-to-date copies on-line without the update service, and save about half of the cost.
