Tibor Nagi's Funeral
Dear Tibi’s friend’s, family and loved ones…
In this time of great pain and mourning I am writing to confirm the date of Tibor’s funeral on the 28th of August, at 3:00 pm at "The Church of Christ", Greenslopes Street, Edge Hill.
Following the service will be a celebration of Tibi’s life located at “Calypso’s Bar and Backpackers” at 5 Digger street Cairns North (behind the “Cock & Bull”). Drinks, finger food and limited accommodation will be available here and can be contacted on (07) 4031 0910.
The service will be of approximately 1 hour in length including a picture slide show. People with photos wishing to be included in this slide show need to email them to [email protected] ASAP to be included.
Anybody wishing to speak at the funeral needs to contact Paul Dallow at [email protected] to coordinate with the celebrant and the funeral director. As everybody can appreciate there will be limited time to speak at the funeral and we will try to accommodate as many people as possible however there will plenty of opportunity for people to share stories about our favorite friend at Calypso’s.
Additionally to the photo slide show at the funeral, Drew Millar from skydive Cairns will be compiling both video and still photos for an extended presentation at Calypso’s. Any tapes need to be sent to Skydive Cairns ASAP and still photos to [email protected]. As the picture slide show at the funeral will be limited in length please send you photos to both addresses to improve the possibility of being seen.
As Tibi will be returning to Hungary there will not be an opportunity to lay rose petals on the coffin. We do however encourage skydivers to lay a “pull up cord” on the coffin with any messages written on them.
