Can anyone let me know what sort of add ons are available for
MS flight Sim 2004 for Australian IFR training. If any, can
you point me to where they are available from.
Cheers

TurbineDreamer, you could try http://www.vistaoz.org and click on forum
Vista Oz is THE scenery pack for Oz (definitely worth a download + its freeware) and it has a massive australian Flight Sim community who should be able to answer your Q.
Cheers

"....for Australian IFR training...."
Erm why would you want add ons for IFR training? I didn't realise our clouds differed so much from the standard ones microsoft supplies.

You dont need any add ons to conduct IFR training in MS2004. Its all there for you. I use it all the time to study my lessons as I am currently doing my MECIR.
I have found it to be a great training tool.

Get yourself a multi engine throttle quadrant (just under $300 AUD from PC Aviator) to practice your asymmetric drills but don't worry about the getting the CH rudders .. they're too light and not worth it.
When you're running the flight sim on your computer, turn off all the wiz bang effects, like dynamic scenery, scenery complexity etc as it uses up too much of your computer's system resources and you don't need all that crap when using it as an IFR trainer.
